A Smallholding at the foot of the Malvern Hills, home to happy animals, a flourishing garden, and a whole lot of countryside chaos.
Watch our journey as we build up our smallholding, create our farm stand, start selling our hatching eggs and get creative in the garden and kitchen.
Fresh from our Smallholding
We will soon be offering Fresh, Free Range, Chicken, Duck and Quail Eggs. Hatching Eggs will also be available.
Our honesty egg stand will be offering these daily (once the girls have stopped trying to hatch them all). With produce, herbs and even some home baking coming soon.
Quail Eggs
Tiny Eggs with enormous personality, much like the layers! Full of protein and flavour.
These girls have a huge enclosure but cannot freely range around the garden as they are not known for their common sense and will quickly get lost. They are still treated to fresh pickings from the garden daily and their coop is moved on demand.
Duck Eggs
Bigger than chicken eggs, but can be used in much the same way, they just add a bit more depth of flavor and pzazz!
Laid by our free ranging 'management team' of Indian Runner Ducks, with Call Ducks and Cayuga ducks approaching laying age!
Chicken Eggs
Freshly laid by our mixed flock of Ayam Cemani, Orpingtons, Marans, Favourells, Cochins, Bresse and Pekins.
The eggs are laid in a myriad of colours and sizes to match their mixed producers, that free range around the garden all day, helping with the weeding and trying to beat us to every new berry!
The Cats of Rohan
The real leaders of the pack, the rulers of the chaos and the masters of the sun spots. They tolorate the rest of the chaos, but of course they would never partake! They bring the beauty - and they know it!

The Dogs of Rohan
Security team, cuddle experts, chief inspectors of all things edible (and a number of things that should not be edible). Experts at collecting any eggs we miss, and quality checking them all!
The Chickens of Rohan
Providing eggs, when they fancy, chaos at all times and far too many morning wake up calls. Free Ranging across the garden, ensuring that not a single berry goes uneaten. The sass these guys bring, keeps us all in check!
The Quail of Rohan
Tiny balls of utter chaos! With wake up calls, day and night, and even the odd egg! They may not be allowed to free range, but these guys make sure you know they are here!
The Ducks of Rohan
Experts in mud, mess, hilarity and a lot of shouting! Free ranging around the garden, 'inspecting' all of the plants and fighting off the snails one day at a time! Quite possibly the most hilarious animals on the planet!
